He is an IIT Bombay alumnus and has served in various senior roles, including Commissioner of Survey, Settlement & Land Records (until February 2025), Deputy Commissioner of Ramanagara (2008-2009), and Special Commissioner for Revenue at BBMP since October 2023. Appointed Principal Secretary, DPAR in February 2025. Known for efficiency in land reforms and anti-corruption efforts.
A 1995-batch IAS officer from the Karnataka cadre, born around 1964-1965. He holds a BA in Mathematics, Economics, and Statistics from Nizam College, Hyderabad Central University; an MA in Economics from the University of Hyderabad (1991-93); and a Master's in Public Management from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Harvard University.

The 75-member body brings all parastatals under one platform for the first time, with the heads of BDA, BMRDA, BMRCL, BMLTA, DULT, BMTC, BWSSB, Bescom, Bengaluru City Police, Fire and Emergency Services and Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner as members. All MLAs, MPs, MLCs and Rajya Sabha MPs with voting rights in Bengaluru, as well as the mayors and commissioners of the five city corporations, will also be part of the authority.
