Telangana ACB officials caught Madisetti Venugopal, Mandal Surveyor at the Tahsildar Office, Siricilla Mandal, Rajanna Sircilla District, along with his private assistant Sura Vamshi, for demanding a bribe of ₹30,000 and accepting ₹20,000 (after already receiving ₹10,000 earlier) from a complainant. The bribe was taken in exchange for conducting a land survey and providing the Panchanama copy related to the complainant’s mother’s property.

Bandi Nageswara Rao, a tahsildar from Warangal Fort Mandal in Telangana, was implicated in a disproportionate assets (DA) case by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on August 29, 2025. The ACB conducted searches at seven locations linked to him and his relatives, uncovering assets worth approximately Rs. 5.02 crore based on documented values. These assets include:- Real Estate: One house valued at Rs. 1.15 crore and 17.10 acres of agricultural land worth Rs. 1.43 crore.- Jewelry: 70 tolas of gold and 1.791 kg of silver.- Luxury Items: 23 wristwatches and household articles.- Vehicles: Two four-wheelers and one two-wheeler.
