Kumabam, Nagaraju, Panchayat Secretary of Challur village, Veenavanka Mandal in Karimnagar District was caught red handed by Telangana ACB Officials for demanding and accepting the bribe of Rs.20,000/- from the complainant, for showing official favour "to allot the house number to the complainant's newly constructed house".
Bandi Nageswara Rao, a tahsildar from Warangal Fort Mandal in Telangana, was implicated in a disproportionate assets (DA) case by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on August 29, 2025. The ACB conducted searches at seven locations linked to him and his relatives, uncovering assets worth approximately Rs. 5.02 crore based on documented values. These assets include:- Real Estate: One house valued at Rs. 1.15 crore and 17.10 acres of agricultural land worth Rs. 1.43 crore.- Jewelry: 70 tolas of gold and 1.791 kg of silver.- Luxury Items: 23 wristwatches and household articles.- Vehicles: Two four-wheelers and one two-wheeler.
